Millions of Mornings / Breville

A big one to share, I recently worked as one of the photographers on Breville’s new global campaign, “Millions of Mornings,” developed by Common Ventures.

The idea is simple, brands don’t decide they’re iconic, people do. So instead of product claims, the campaign documents real morning routines in real kitchens across six cities - Sydney, London, Paris, Berlin, New York and Seoul.

My part of the project was the Seoul and Australian legs, these vignettes documenting authentic morning routines, each with its own local nuance.

What made this project special was the ambition behind the format. Every frame was captured as a still, then sequenced and edited into the 60-second hero film and a full suite of social cut-downs. No motion cameras, no second unit, just stills and loads of coffee.

Thank you to Breville for trusting us with such an honest, human story. And I’m super grateful to Common Ventures, fellow photographers, and all the talent for sharing their mornings and collaboration on this one.

Lastly, a big thanks to our amazing producers Bronte Molyneux & Kiah Carter for all their long hours to bring this one together.
