The morning starts early for the workers of the Tsukiji Fish Market, it is the largest seafood market in existence, consisting of two areas. The Inner market is home to all the auctions that take place each day at 5am. And the Outer market, that is made up of row after row of small stalls operating all year round. Vendors unload an astounding quantity of fish and other incredible seafood varieties, a heavy smell of fish and diesel lingers in the air, with a constant murmur of voices, squeaking of styrofoam and honking horns barking around every corner.
